Radianthora Pendant – How a Bead-Woven Pendant Comes to Life – Behind the Scenes

 Radianthora Pendant

Here, we are making a bead-woven pendant in a slightly different way.

I’m not showing you a pre-made pattern, but the entire process: from the design table to the finished pendant. The decisions are made as I bead, and sometimes I undo sections, make adjustments or rethink certain details – so you can see exactly how a piece of jewellery truly comes to life.

It is rare to get such a close look at the design process. Most videos follow a finished, already tested pattern, but here we go through the thinking and creative process together, step by step.

Along the way, the video also includes beading tips and little tricks. Some sections have been sped up – for example, repetitive beading or undoing parts – to make the process easier to follow.

Some sections have been sped up – such as repetitive beading or undoing parts – so the video remains easy to follow. In reality, the process takes much longer: I often simply turn the pendant around, look at the proportions and think about how the next step would look best.

The recording was preceded by several days of preparation: choosing colours, mentally working through the beading process and thinking about how to make everything clear and easy for you to follow.

I hope this little behind-the-scenes look will also inspire your own creations.
